ALT has a limited amount of funds to provide support for a number of ALT members attending the ALT IX Conference in Hong Kong. Financial support is available for members whose abstract has been accepted (oral presentation or poster), and will be awarded on the basis of financial need of the applicant.
ALT members wishing to apply for financial support should send an application to the secretary-treasurer, before March 20th, at <jean-christophe.verstraete@arts.kuleuven.be>. The application should consist of a brief statement (one paragraph) explaining why the applicant considers himself/herself to be in need of financial assistance, and an estimate of the costs to be covered.
