Welcome!: This is the course support website for LING1003: Language, Thought and Culture. You will be able to check the latest information about the course, download lecture notes and assignments, as well as find out details about your tutorial groups. Please check back regularly to note the latest updates.

The lectures will be on Tuesday 10:30am and Friday 10.30am in Knowles Building KB223.

Textbook: The textbook that accompanies the course is The Study of Language, 4th edition (2010), by George Yule, Cambridge University Press, and is now available at the University bookstore.

Tutorials: Course participants are required to fill in a tutorial sheet with their preferences for tutorials. Copies of the form will be available during the lecture on Friday.
